- 1 January, Sunday - New Year's Day - This is a public holiday when no one works. It is also the only national day off in January.
- 14 February, Tuesday - Valentine's Day - We already know that on this day we celebrate love and love for our loved ones. It's a religious but also a commercial holiday for Dutch people everywhere.
- 7 April, Friday - Good Friday - A religious holiday of the utmost importance for the Dutch celebrating the Crucifixion of Jesus.
- 9 April, Sunday - Easter Sunday - One of the most religious days of the year is also designated a national holiday for the Netherlands.
- 10 April, Monday - Easter Monday - Religious holiday and national holiday for the second day of Easter.
- 27 April, Thursday - King's Birthday - A national holiday specific to the Netherlands celebrating the birthday of King Willem-Alexander.
- 4 May, Thursday - Remembrance Day - A special holiday to remember all those who fell in service during the Second World War
- 5 May, Friday - Liberation Day - A very important holiday for the Netherlands as 5 May celebrates liberation from Nazi Germany.
- 14 May, Sunday - Mother's Day - On this national day, the Dutch celebrate their mothers, celebrating the idea of motherhood and showing how much it means to each of them.
- 18 May, Thursday - Ascension Day - Always celebrated on the 40th day after Easter.
- 28 May, Sunday - Pentecost - Commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit and is a national holiday.
- 29 May, Monday - Monday after Pentecost
- 18 June, Sunday - Father's Day - The Dutch do celebrate Father's Day and have made it a national holiday.
- 5 November, Sunday - All Saints' Day - The first Sunday in November is always cause for a religious celebration of all the saints.
- 5 December, Tuesday - St. Nicholas Eve - Very important to the Dutch, a holiday with a lot of history behind it. Specific only to the Netherlands
- 6 December, Wednesday - St. Nicholas Day - St Nicholas Day is celebrated throughout the West.
- 24 December, Sunday - Christmas Eve
- 25 December, Monday - Christmas Day
- 26 December, Tuesday - Christmas Day
- 31 December, Sunday - New Year's Eve
